Hey peeps, thank god all the holidays are out the way for the moment, so I can get back to keeping you informed. In the two weeks that I have been away there have been a few changes in trends for the summer. Most of the basics are still the same, however 80's inspired hair and fashion has started climbing in popularity. Get your teasing combs out and go for frosty highlights, looks pioneered by Madonna back in the day

Another uber trendy Brit is the singing sensation Jessie J. Her sleek poker straight black hair is what seamlessly brings together her entire look. Her Demi bob and heavy bangs are two must have looks this summer
Half way round the world Rihanna has ditched her trademark short styles, and opted for long vibrant red hair this week.
While I personally think that she could loose a few inches from the length it looked absolutely stunning at the Met Gala in honor of Alexander McQueen.
With the braid, the ends of her weave look a lot less 'The little mermaid' and more chic red carpet. The event was one of the elegant star studded galas to date. While everyone looked incredible I am bored of the ballerina bun, and long wavy locks seen on everyone from Madonna to Jennifer Lopez. I did like Kate Hudson’s look. The twist with the hair accessory in place of the tiara is very cute.
