Essential tips for fantastic hair

dThere is nothing more beautiful then long healthy hair. Its a sign of youth and health. Over the years of working in a salon and talking to clients, each and every one made at least on mistake while 'taking care' of their hair at home. I listed below a few essential tips to guarantee the hair your always wanted.

CUT YOUR HAIR MORE OFTEN!!!!
Israeli girls love long hair and have the misconception that if they don't cut it, it will grow really long:( The problem is that if the ends are not trimmed regularly they become dry and brittle or split and break. Split ends can travel up the lengths of the hair if not cut every few months, and when you eventually decide to brave up and cut it you will have to kiss goodbye the 10cm your hair grew since your last visit to the salon. If your ends feel brittle and dry,I suggest trimming you hair every 3 months and using Force Vector Shampoo and Mask from L'Oreal

DON'T BRUSH WET HAIR!
People tend to be inpatient while trying to untangle their hair after its been washed, and start attacking it with a brush to get it over and done with fast. Apply a small amount L'Oreals Liss control+ hair serum to the ends and mid lengths of the hair. Use a wide tooth comb and start from the ends and work your way to the roots not the other way around. This will avoid the ends getting to knotty and prevent breakage.

DON'T OVER MOISTURIZE!
We all know that using thick creamy masks are great for the hair, and we love the way it helps to soften and smoother it, but don't over do it! If your hair is in good condition, then use a mask once a week. If you hair is highlighted and dry, apply the conditioning treatments every other time you wash your hair. Overdosing on mask can weigh the hair down and make it dull, limp and lifeless. Never apply the mask to the roots of your hair. From mid-lengths to ends is sufficient. Never leave mask on for to long, it tends to leave the hair feeling worse then it did before. Absolute Repair from L'Oreal is great for damaged hair.

DON'T CUT YOUR BANGS AT HOME!
Bangs tend to grow out extremely quickly, and within 3 weeks they are already touching your eyelashes. We offer a complimentary bangs trim to our clients in between hair cuts because it effects the over all look of the hairstyle, and we defiantly cut it much straighter then you can with the kitchen scissors!
UGGGGG!

DON'T COLOR THE LENGTHS OF YOUR HAIR EVERY TIME!!!
If you have visited the salon you know we don't recommend coloring all your hair to fix your roots. If you color your hair at home I suggest doing a root touch up only, and color the full lengths every few months. Overlapping the color over processes the hair leaving it porous, which allows the color to fade off even quicker. Vitamino Color Shampoo helps prevent fading.
