Hair secrets from around the World 7

The women in the Cayman Islands use castor and nut oils in their hair for a high shine. Spend an evening at home and pamper yourself with a hot-oil scalp massage. You can find the different types of nut and essential oils at your local health store. If you feel like being adventurous ask the shop assistant to recommend a few different oils which you can mix together at home to make the ultimate treatment to suit your hair needs. Heat up a pot of water and transfer oils to plastic bottle with an applicator top or a plastic ketchup bottle. remove the hot water from the stove and put the plastic bottle full of oil into the water to heat it up to a temperature suitable for you.  Apply enough oil to coat your hair and scalp. wrap in a towel to keep it warm for around 15 minutes. Before you wet your hair, apply a generous amount of shampoo to the oily ends and rinse. This helps to soak up any excess oil before you shampoo and condition as usual.
